Golden Hearts Nursing School (GHNS) – Oakland is committed to preparing compassionate, skilled healthcare professionals through focused, hands-on nursing education. Located in Oakland, GHNS provides an accelerated and affordable pathway into healthcare for individuals ready to gain real-world skills and enter the workforce with confidence.
Our programs are designed for young adults 16 years of age and older and adults seeking a fast, focused pathway into the healthcare field. We foster a supportive learning environment where students receive personalized instruction, practical experience, and the foundation needed to succeed in entry-level nursing roles. At GHNS, education is purposeful, empowering, and centered on care from the heart.

The mission of Golden Hearts Nursing School is to empower individuals through high-quality vocational nursing education that leads to employment and long-term career advancement. We are dedicated to serving learners at various stages of life by providing accessible, efficient, and compassionate training in healthcare.
Through structured instruction and supervised clinical experience, GHNS prepares students to meet the professional, ethical, and emotional demands of patient care while building confidence, responsibility, and essential life and workplace skills.

Our Programs
Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Program – Learn the essential skills to begin a career in healthcare with state-approved training, hands-on clinical experience, exam preparation, and career support.
CNA Program Schedule:

Weeks 1–2 (Hybrid): Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Weeks 3–4 (In-Person): Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

GHNS is excited to launch our LVN program in August 2026 (pending BPPE approval). This program will provide an accelerated pathway into nursing, building on the strong foundation of our CNA program and career services.
